FAQs
Where is Delaware Supply located?
We are located on Delaware Ave in Albany, NY. Just to the right of the Spectrum 8 Theater.
Am I allowed to bring outside food?
No. Because we have our own menu, we ask that you do not bring in outside food. Unless, however, it’s popcorn from the movie theater.
Do you do flights?
We do not do flights, but we do offer the majority of our draft in taster-sized glasses.
Where do you get your product?
We work directly with breweries, importers and distributors. Sometimes that means hyper-local, sometimes that means product from across the world!
What is a slow pour?
So glad that you asked ;) A slow pour is a traditional method of pouring beer that facilitates the release of CO2 from the liquid beer, which forms a tall, aromatic and dense head. Depending on the beer, this process can take 5-7minutes. We offer this method on all lagers being poured from standard taps. If you order a slow pour on Sunday, you get $1 off ! And as a bonus, you’ll get $1 off a small pour of any other draft offering while you wait. It’s not a better method, just a different one.
Why are DelSup beers always poured with a substantial head?
Foam is an important component to tasting beer. It protects the liquid beer from oxidation, gathers some of the CO2 away from the liquid beer (which improves texture and helps reduce burping!), and creates the perfect cloud of aroma. Don’t wait for the foam to settle; just dive right in :)
Do you make your own beer?
Heck no. Brewing is not within our scope of talent. We are professional tasters! and our wheelhouse is tasting and pouring.
Why do beers at Delsup taste so good?
We clean our draft lines between every single keg and replace the lines routinely. We also dismantle and clean our tap handles, keg couplers and walk-in. Glasses are washed by hand to beer-clean standards and rinsed before every pour. You are drinking the beer the way the brewer intended, and that is truly the least we can do.
